Are there spies in the animal world? Do you know that 30 animatronic spies were sent on a secret mission, including penguin eggs?

In BBC’s documentary series “Spy in the Wild”, 30 animatronic spy creatures were sent into the homes of wild animals. Since these “spies” were able to interact with real animals, they successfully captured point-of-view shots which are rarely seen in ecology documentaries.

There are funny and heroic moments in the series, such as spies being kissed forcefully, hunted by other animals and trampled down. Some animals even attempted to mate with the spies. It was really a touching scene to watch…

The full version is available on BBC’s official website, but you can also find up to 40 excerpts on YouTube. Although these clips are only a few minutes long, they will offer you a glimpse into the thrilling life of spies!
