We have already introduced many benefits of vitamin N; the recently popular forest bathing is exactly made for the intake of vitamin N (though at the time the benefits nature brings were not yet lumped under the term vitamin N).

Forest bathing (shinrin-yoku) was originally a Japanese term, meaning to be bathed in nature. Under the guidance of trained forest bathing guides, we slow our steps, awaken our senses and feel the environment around us. By accepting nature's invitation through being bathed in it, we build a deep relationship full of therapeutic power.

Where can we take part in forest bathing in Hong Kong? Aside from our series of forest bathing experiences, Kadoorie farm also regularly conducts "Forest Immersion Walk" and other courses and activities related to forest bathing. There are also more and more emerging private institutions set up by certified forest bathing guides; the venues of these walks go beyond the forest– some guides would bring participants to the seaside, feeling the therapeutic strength of the waves lapping at the shore and the sand between the toes. For all of you interested– find the guide for you based on your interests, availability, and destinations you'd like to visit!

Of course not everyone needs a guide to slow our steps and interact with nature. But if you still feel you are attached to your phone, find yourself unsettled when you are alone with spare time, or if you feel to rest is to waste time, then having a guide may bring you a better forest bathing experience.
