About Yuxing

Yuxing was born and raised in Guangzhou, China. During the six years of study in the United States, he received his B.S. in Applied Physics and B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Irvine, and an M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University. Prior to enrolling at HKU, he had two-year undergraduate research experience in Professor Xin’s lab on Li-S batteries, Zn metal batteries, and solid electrolytes, which provides him with the enthusiasm for future research. Apart from academia, he is also a passionate environmentalist, a road cyclist, and a motorsport enthusiast.
