About Kin Chiu

Kin Chiu was born in Shenzhen, China and grown up in Hong Kong. He received his B.Eng. in Mechanical and Automation Engineering in 2017 from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He joins a semiconductor company after graduation. Then he attained his master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2024 from The University of Hong Kong. During his postgraduate studies, he completed his dissertation project on energy harvesting in Dr. Shin’s lab. He decided to pursue this research further. Outside the lab, he enjoys hiking and swimming.
