About Jiaming

Jiaming was born and raised in Shenzhen, China. He received his B.Eng. in Materials Science and Engineering in 2018 from Xi’an Jiao Tong University. He obtained his MSc. in Mechanical Engineering from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology under the supervision of Prof. Jangkyo Kim in 2019. He worked on nanomaterials for thermal properties during the postgraduate education. After graduation, he was working in Tsinghua, Shenzhen as a research assistant on graphene-based energy storage materials under Prof. Baohua Li. This experience inspired him to further his research in nanomaterials which can be used in energy harvesting areas. Outside the lab, he enjoys basketball and movie.
