About Hui

Hui Zhou was born in Shandong, China and grown up in Shanghai. He obtained his M.Eng. in Chemical Engineering (with Chemistry) in 2023, focusing on composite solid polymer electrolyte. He was enlightened and entertained during undergraduate research studies, hence he decided to continue working on solid state battery research and join Dr. Shin’s group. Before enrolled to HKU, he spent half year working in a battery research company, fostering essential skills for further studies. He is exuberant to face challenges in his postgraduate studies. Outside the lab, travelling, music and swimming are his main hobbies.
