About Eunjong

Eunjong was born and grow up in Namwon of the Republic of Korea. He received his B.S. in Nanomaterial Engineering in 2018 from Pusan National University. As an undergraduate student, he participated in an undergraduate research program and experimented with the flexoelectric effect, which is a field of Energy Harvesting. He obtained his M.S. in Material Science and Engineering in 2020 from Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) under the supervision of Prof. Jong-Lam Lee. He mainly worked on simulations for designs of all-dielectric metasurfaces to save energy that can be wasted. At the same time, he also made polymer chips by using PDMS (Polydimethylsiloxane) and silicon mold utilized various equipment such as photolithography, evaporator system, and ICP etcher. These experiences give him possibilities to challenge to improve on his research on fabricating energy-saving applications to break through excessive energy consumption. In his everyday life, he enjoys watching movies and reading books.
